After his foundational first 30 years of work, he is now dedicated to not only do successful business, but to create a positive social and business impact. Driven by this ambition, Atanas founded Ocean Investments to reinvent entrepreneurship.
Atanas is an alumni from the Law faculty at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. He has completed multiple executive programs such as the Blockchain Strategy Program at Saïd Business School, Oxford University and the Cybersecurity and Risk Management program at Harvard University.

Through a powerful combination of personal example, company initiatives, active fundraising, educational support and extreme endurance events, Atanas has been passionately chasing one major personal goal – to help people live healthier in Bulgaria, where mortality statistics are shocking. That’s why he wants to invest in projects focused on health prevention, using science, technology and automation. But most of all, he wants to invest into educating people on how to lead a healthier life.
Atanas loves constant challenges and is passionate about active lifestyle. A sports addict, he loves spending time outdoors, hiking and climbing mountains. He also loves yoga and meditation, sport shooting and sometimes even participates in near-to-war simulations. Being an expert in health and nutrition, he leads a very healthy lifestyle and maintains an eco-friendly, high food culture.
A proud father of three sons – Marko, Kristiyan and Alexander – Atanas values family the most. His eldest sons are already on board, leading Ocean’s work in cyber-security and real estate.
