On September 19 in Beijing, during the international RenDanHeYi Forum, Ocean Investments was honored with the prestigious Emergent Excellence Award.
The award is given to organizations that are at the beginning of their journey toward decentralization and building closer relationships with clients, teams, and communities.
RenDanHeYi is a model created by the Chinese technology giant Haier, which transforms the traditional hierarchical structure by promoting team autonomy and placing the customer at the center of every decision. This is the approach that Ocean has begun adopting in recent months through its Ocean Evolution initiative, making it one of the first companies in Bulgaria to experiment with this type of organisational design.
Over the past nine months, our team has participated in numerous trainings and international workshops, conducted pilot projects, and built new frameworks for collaboration. These efforts were highly appreciated by the international jury, which recognizes not the final outcome but the courage to take a new path and seek answers to difficult questions.
“This award is a recognition of the direction we’ve chosen. For us, values have never been just a slogan, but a way of acting every day. Today, they are even more visible in our commitment to build businesses that are also communities of trust,” shared Svetla Parmakova, Coordinator of Ocean Evolution, who accepted the award on stage in Beijing.
This recognition places Ocean Investments on the global map of companies rethinking how business operates, showing that Bulgarian companies can be not just followers, but innovators and pioneers in shaping the future.
