At Ocean Investments, that moment is shaped by three incredible women whose smiles, warmth, and professionalism greet every guest, partner, and colleague who walks through our doors.
In this blog post, we sit down with Krasimira Stateva, Izabela Pavlova, and Karina Kinova — the heart and soul of our front office — to talk about first impressions, company culture, and what it truly means to feel at home at work. From their first day at Ocean to what keeps them motivated today, they share honest reflections, favorite moments, and the values that guide them.

When did you join the company, and why did you choose to become part of it?
Krasimira:
I’ve been part of the Ocean family since January 2024. I say “family” rather than “organization” because that’s exactly how it feels. I chose to join because of the dynamic environment, the diverse work, and the growth opportunities. From the very beginning, I was sure this is exactly where I belong.
Izabela:
I’ve been with the company for almost two years. I joined because the way things are done here aligns with my own values – quality, teamwork, and growth.
Karina:
I joined Ocean Investments in March 2025. What appealed to me the most was the sense of meaningfulness and authenticity behind everything the company does.

What were your first impressions?
Krasimira:
My first impressions were extremely positive. Even after a full workday, I would leave the office feeling energized. Simply put, I met amazing people who are great at multitasking, fast and efficient.
Izabela:
Right from the start, I felt the friendly atmosphere and professionalism. I was pleasantly surprised by how warmly I was welcomed and the support I received.
Karina:
My strongest first impression was the people — highly professional, supportive, and united.
Krasimira Stateva-
What surprised you the most?
Krasimira:
What surprised me most was how quickly I fit in and adapted to the new environment. I work directly with many colleagues, and I’m grateful for how quickly they have accepted me. We clicked right away.
Izabela:
I was surprised by how willing everyone is to help — it creates a sense of team spirit.
Karina:
I was pleasantly surprised by the company’s high professional standards and clearly structured internal processes.

How would you describe the working environment and company culture?
Krasimira:
The environment here is very positive, supportive, and energizing. I love the variety of tasks and the fact that everyone is eager to help and collaborate on every initiative.
Izabela:
The working environment is supportive, dynamic, and motivating.
Karina:
It’s dynamic yet very well organized, which ensures that day-to-day processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What would you say about your colleagues and the management?
Krasimira:
I have amazing colleagues. Beyond being great professionals, they’re also wonderful people.
Izabela:
As I’ve mentioned, my colleagues are very responsive and responsible — we’re a tight-knit team. As for management, I appreciate how employees are trusted to make decisions independently in certain situations.
Karina:
What I truly value in my colleagues is the blend of professionalism, maturity, and calm communication.
Izabela Pavlova-
If you had to name three positive things about Ocean, what would they be?
Krasimira:
- A dynamic environment – every day brings new challenges and opportunities, which keeps things interesting and helps us grow.
- The team – we work closely, support each other, and create a friendly atmosphere.
- Growth opportunities – the company encourages both personal and professional development through various projects and initiatives.
Izabela:

Karina:

What do you think could be improved?
Krasimira:
We’re currently very focused on improving the overall organizational structure. Through the Ocean Evolution project, we’re moving toward a hybrid, decentralized ecosystem — which I believe is the right path forward. This transformation will improve and speed up all processes and give everyone more freedom to express ideas, take initiative, and make decisions.
Izabela:
Even in a well-functioning system, there’s always room for improvement. One example would be better communication between teams and faster problem-solving.
Karina:
Sometimes, the pace outpaces the structure. Paying more attention to process clarity and internal coordination would help us become even more synchronized.

What do you tell your family and friends about your job? How do you describe what you do?
Krasimira:
I work in an amazing place where people are valued and constantly encouraged to learn and grow. I describe my work as dynamic and interesting, with many opportunities to participate in different projects and initiatives.
Izabela:
It’s a bit tricky 😊 When it comes to explaining this to my grandma, I just say I do something with computers. For everyone else, I explain that I manage organization, coordinate with clients and colleagues, and ensure the office runs smoothly.
Karina:
I tell them I work in a company that challenges me every day with exciting tasks and development opportunities.
Karina Kinova-
What motivates you to stay at the company?
Krasimira:
There’s honestly nothing that would make me want to leave. I love that I learn something new every day, I enjoy working with my team, and I appreciate the great office vibe, the variety of tasks, and all the initiatives we take part in.
Izabela:
What keeps me here is that it doesn’t feel like a job — it feels like fun. Every morning, I’m excited to battle the traffic just to get to the office and see my colleagues, who feel more like family.
Karina:
What matters most to me is the opportunity to learn and contribute to meaningful projects. Clear leadership, a supportive culture, and real development prospects create an environment that keeps me motivated and engaged daily.
