Longevia Medical Center (part of Ocean Investments) is developing a new nationwide initiative focused on preventive health screenings and medical services. We are looking for responsible, motivated healthcare professionals to join our team and travel across Bulgaria as part of the project.
About the role
We are looking for a responsible and communicative Medical Assistant to support preventive screenings and other medical activities in a fully equipped mobile medical unit, providing services to employees and patients at various locations outside Sofia.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the mobile medical unit for examinations and preventive screenings
- Assist the General Practitioner during examinations and medical procedures
- Perform basic clinical procedures, including blood draws, vital sign measurements and other routine tasks
- Maintain medical records and enter patient data into the relevant systems
- Support the coordination of visit schedules across different sites and cities
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure that equipment and the mobile medical unit are kept clean and sterile
Requirements
- Qualification as a Medical Assistant, Feldsher, or a comparable healthcare qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a responsible and reliable approach to work
- Willingness to travel and undertake business trips across Bulgaria
- Category B driving licence is an advantage
- Basic computer literacy; previous experience with medical software is an advantage
